1) If you have time to do research then go for DIY (Do it yourself). It will require you to do extensive research.
2) May mga one year course pero as much as possible get a 2 year diploma from a public college. 2 years study = 3 years PGWork Permit. 1 year Study = 1 year PGWP. You need that extra 2 years in PGWP to earn more Canadian experience ang chance to be eligible for PR.
3) Depende sa school kung kailan pwede i-refund. Each school has its own refund policy.

well i still have my oldest brother and my parents here. just 2 of my siblings are in canada. hoping for a positive output :D
If you have no spouse and/or children and your parents and siblings are in Canada you will have a very strong ties in Canada which, unfortunately, is a big red flag for VO and hard to counter.
If you only have siblings then its good. You can use them to your advantage in the SOP. If you back read you will know how to use them in your advantage.

weak ties - One of the reasons of my refusal in 2014
any recommendations on how to deal this in the SOP
Sadly its hard to counter this red flag. All you can do is strengthen the other part of SOP so that they will see you as a genuine student.

I am still completing my docs. I am for Jan 2018 intake.
Online or paper application?
Online = convenient
Paper base = People in VFS will check your application for completeness. Note that they have no idea about the immigration law they only know if your application is complete or not.

Hello Sir mic-mic! Sa 3 years po ba na PGWP saan pwede ito i-apply na province? kung saan po ba nag study in CA or pwede sa ibang province or territory? at pag nakaka 1 year pa lang ng PGWP pwede na po ba mag start mag apply ng PR? Lastly po, in case po na gusto lumipat ng ibang province after ng PR possible ba yun under ng PN programs or CEC? Maraming salamat. :):D God bless.
Hello po!

Si PGWP po will work anywhere naman po basta hindi sex related industry.

Tapos after 1 year, or 1,650 hours within 12 months, IN A SKILLED job or NOC recognized job, pwede na po apply under CEC.

Target nyo po CEC kasi si PNP po is may extra cost pa, mga around 1.5k pa po yata na additional and extra months of processing pa.

With or without PR, pwede naman po kayo lumipat lipat although nakatali pa kayo sa school habang nag aaral pa.

For now, concentrate po muna kayo in getting good grades and internships para may laman agad resume ninyo before pa kayo mag graduate. You guys might might be luckier than I am, so who knows. Basta sipag and tiis lang po. ;)

Hello, for those who have sent me private messages about my SOP, please see below link for the guidelines on how to create a strong SOP. This is especially for OFWS like me, pero I think it is also suitable for domestic applicants, I hope it guides you also. This is based on my own research, sa mga nakaka usap ko din and sa mga nabasa ko na caips notes and previous SOP. I discourage copying SOP word by word. I did mine on my own so I know you can create yours as well by following this guidelines:

https://pinaydubaiyuki.wordpress.com/2017/09/15/how-to-create-a-strong-sop-for-ofws/
Congrats and I have to agree with you. Best po na original ang SOP ninyo. Friendly reminder lang po sa lahat, may software po that can check ilang percentage ang similarities ng documents. I dont know if they use it, but my school usually does it for online submissions. Just incase they did use something similar, you guys obviously don't want to be part of that :)

Good day to everyone,

I'm a new member here. Is there someone who can answer my questions regarding about studying and working in Canada. I'm a Filipino Citizen just like others. I'm only a graduate of a 2 years course in the Philippines and currently working here in Saudi Arabia.

my questions are:
1. Do I really need to take up an IELTS before I applied for Student Visa?
2. Is there any scholarship Programs in the Philippines for those who are willing to study abroad?
3. Can someone help me find a suitable school best fitted for me.

Hope someone would answer in any of my question mentioned above. Thank You!
As a detective (joke lang po), you can start investigating which career path you want to pursue. Best na related na tinapos mo. Afterwards, determine saan province mag stay to narrow your school searches and then lastly, back read this thread as it covers almost all imaginable scenarios and questions with regards to applying.

You can read my posts from the beginning so you can see my journey from student to PR application bago pa ako nag graduate and kaka approve lang namin on our 2nd year here.

As for IELTS, may iba sinasabi na pwede wala pero magugulat ka nalang na may exam and if you failed it, no choice ka na mag enroll ng english classes. Ganyan nangyaribsa mga taiwanese friends ko. D nag ielts so conditional yunh LOA nila tapos bumagsak sa assessment, ayun, dagdag gastos.. 200 to 300 na cost ng ielts vs 2k na english class for a semester hehe
