Hmmm, I somehow managed to lock myself out of my other account (JainaFel) ::)

Anyways, got my refusal last week - still due to lack of establishment etc. I got their reply almost 40 days after the embassy got my docs. But DON'T LOSE HOPE you guys, mine was a long shot anyway since my immediate family is already in Canada. I guess even my business isn't enough to be considered established here. Oh well.

Just a few tips I learned from experience:
- Paper-based application is faster.
- Use the PIASI call center to arrange your courier. I didn't and it took more than a month to even get confirmation that they got my docs.
- For those who got refused, get CAIPS/ GCMS notes if you plan to reapply so you'll know the specifics about your refusal.
- Get a reasonably-priced consultant if you want, but don't rely on them entirely, also do your research.

I've already gotten previous TRV refusal, so I'm not reapplying anytime soon, I'm looking at studying in another country instead. Good luck and God bless. :)
Hi Jaina_Fel, how are you? I saw you last active on Jan 2017 in other threads. Kindly update me of your status because I have the same case as yours before. Thanks in advance.

Minsan meron po kasi na short courses na 1 sem lang so hindi siya qualified kasi mimnimum 8 months. Meron din po kasi courses na available online lang so technically it can be taken outside of Canada. In both cases, malaki po chance na di suya mag qualify.

Si gf po ni classmate ko na international student din before nagka problema sa pgwp niya kasi yung 1 or 2 subjects is may online component. She had to do tons of paper work to prove na hindi siya online na course but just a small part of the program.

Good day to everyone,

I'm a new member here. Is there someone who can answer my questions regarding about studying and working in Canada. I'm a Filipino Citizen just like others. I'm only a graduate of a 2 years course in the Philippines and currently working here in Saudi Arabia.

my questions are:
1. Do I really need to take up an IELTS before I applied for Student Visa?
2. Is there any scholarship Programs in the Philippines for those who are willing to study abroad?
3. Can someone help me find a suitable school best fitted for me.

Hope someone would answer in any of my question mentioned above. Thank You!

Hello po. Pahelp.

Please note the following:
1- IELTS is required to get admission in any Public College / University in College.
2- No idea.
3- You can search by yourself on http://www.ontariocolleges.ca/FindProgram

Hi guys!

I just recently passed my application for the Winter 2018 term, and they say it takes about 10-20 days for admissions to get back to me and on top of that there's an approximate 8 week processing time for the student permit. What are your thoughts on this? Has anyone here gone through this near death (lol, super thrilling) experience? I need help! My anxiety is killing me! Haha

Parang ang nangyari po sa kanya is dahil last term na niya yun tapos nung naging online yung isa, dun na nagka problema kasi kinulang na sa physical hours sa school. I can try to get the full story in detail if they attend the alumni gathering next month and will get back to you.
