For that course, I think you choose Toronto or Vancouver. Nasa sa big cities ang madaming opportunities for Hospitality Management and Business Ad. I'm in Toronto and enjoying it here so I would recommend to come here, pero it's really up to you. Toronto has several good colleges - my school (Centennial) is one of them, plus you have many other choices like Humber, Seneca, George Brown. Some other people prefer a smaller, less urban province but not for me. After I went to Calgary for my vacation, I got bored lol

Madali ang PR -- hard to say. Immigration rules change constantly. Saka hindi ko pa yan inaaral, I'm just focusing on finishing my studies first. There was a regime change last year when Canada had their elections, from conservative to liberal ... naghigpit yung conservatives sa international students but reportedly changes are coming soon. So we shall see. My advice to you for now - pick a good school with a good two year program, make sure your background fits the course you choose and commit to finishing your studies. Worry about PR later :)
How about the part time jobs? Madali naman makahanap? How long did it take you para makahanap ng part time work?

Schools have their own different payment schedule.
Sa akin sa Conestoga College they will release the LOA but may time frame sila for the deposit fee na 1500. If di mo mabayaran sa binigay nila na deadline your LOA will be expired.

Anong agency ka? Under enhance agency ako. Ganyan talaga siguro pag under agency, before anything else you need to give them the money. May billing statement sila na need mo bayaran before they'll send your application to the school. In my case, I even paid more than 10,000 CAD.

Maraming part time jobs dito sa Toronto, but the challenge for international students is to be able to apply to fit the "Canadian" way. Kasi wala akong contacts or network sa Canada talaga. Nakailang revision ako ng resume before I started getting any responses from employers, pero tiyaga lang talaga. I arrived in late August, I got my first job as a part time cashier 2nd week of October, so not too bad. Tiyaga lang at resourcefulness.

For the acceptance letter, usually hindi. But they usually give you a deadline to pay a tuition fee deposit to reserve your spot in the program but usually they don't need it to hand you the acceptance letter.

Hmmmm CIC. Medyo gahaman kasi pag agency sorry ha. I don't know if it's probably standard practice coz I applied on my own. Most likely they are trying to see if you are capable but you really don't need to pay $10k agad, usually ang one sem nga is around CAD6K-7K ... sinsiguro nila na hindi ka lilipat ng school o lilipat ng ibang agency. Pero hindi talaga kailangan yan. In my case, I just paid a CAD1,500 deposit to reserve my slot and I only paid the rest of my first semester fee of CAD5K when my visa got approved.

Un na nga daw mahirap eh sa mga part time jobs especially if wala ka kakilala. Nakakaya ng part time job mo ang cost of living expenses mo sa canada? Until now yan pa rin job mo or you have other job na?

Yes, ganun nga ang nangyari sa akin under Enhance Agency. So, nagipon muna parents ko to raise the money they were asking bago ako nakapag-apply sa school.

I live with family din so tipid ako sa rent saka sa pagkain. But I have enough to buy books and school supplies and enjoy a little dito basta hindi lang ako maluho. It might be a little more challenging if you have to pay for your own accommodation. Also, mahal sa Toronto hahaha

You have to be ready to give up the perks of your old life sa Pinas. I can't enjoy what I used to enjoy back home while I'm still studying.

Right now, I'm still a cashier pero at another store na (Loblaws), siguro dito na ako hanggang makagraduate.
Oo kaya lang talaga ng self application! Barat kasi ako nun kaya tinry ko by myself muna, nakalusot naman ako hehe
