Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi guys! Hi scorpio!

Sino sa inyo nag take ng IELTS sa IDP? Nagpabook kase ako online last March 11, 2015, tapos yung date ng test ko sa March 28. But until now, di pa ako nakatanggap ng confirmation kung kelan yung speaking test schedule ko.

try mo po mag wait ng confirmation until tomorrow kung wala padin po pwede mo naman tawagan yung IDP tom. kasi ganun po ginawa ko eh wala padin siya nung one week before written exam ko kaya tinwagan ko sila then ayun kinabukasan sinend na nila.

I only applied for 1 year Business certificate. I only submitted the minimum requirements online.
LOA, Tuition deposit receipt, Proof of funds(200k only), letter of support from aunt (not notarized), NBI, medical clearance, blah blah. and my letter of explanation on why i want to study in Canada, and if I have plans of returning to my home country. Medyo dinramahan ko sa letter of explanation ko kaya siguro na approve yung akin.

pwede naman magdala as long as ideclare mo yung pera sa POE. I'm planning to bring $15,000 USD
sa wire transfer kasi sobrang mahal 63$ siningil sa akin ng BDO nung nag wire transfer ako dun sa seat ko :/

Ang mahal naman sa BDO pero meron talagang mga fees pag wire transfer, di mo maiiwasan yan. Did you inquire sa BDO if you can do payment in bank draft using CAD? Kasi sa RCBC ang iniisue nila ay peso at USD lang. Better to ask them?

Ang ibig sabihin ni Erwinjohn eh British Council IELTS. Pero I don 't think naman there's a lot of difference between the two.

Malamang early next week ka pa nila iinform about your speaking test. i got my sched two days before my test so ok ka pa

Ahaha! My bad. Yung IDP lang kase alam ko eh.

Ung speaking test ng idp, u will normally know it after the other tests. Its either same day or day after.
I idp din ako nagtest, sounds strange na they cant confirm the speaking sked. Basta sbi skin, just be prepared. D cla masyado organize unlike bc which i took gen test before.

Basta, u will take the speaking same day normaly.

Ms. Tipsy, wala naman nakalagay sa CIC na di pwedeng mag fly ng maaga db? Kasi plan ko mag book na ng flight sa may 26,2015 minamadali na ako ng partner ko haha

Hi! I am newbie here.... I already have my approved student visa since November pa...pero di ako makaalis alis because I am still waiting for my partners open work permit. My class will start April 6. He applied for his open work permit last December however refused last week of January. We reapplied last Feb. 18 and his docs was received at CEM last Feb. 23, paper-based. Okay lang po ba if hindi na namin na-include yung medical receipt niya nung 1st application niya? Kasi sabi ng consultancy makikita naman daw sa database nila na may mdeical na siya.. I'm very worried because until wala pang response from the embassy..I'm so depressed right now, di pa ko nagpapabook ng ticket coz we are still hoping na aabot paung visa niya. We are praying na sana next week meron na. Nung 1st application niya it took exactly one month bago namin nakuha ang result ng application niya
