1 - You can make the change as long as it doesn't affect your FSW eligibility. If you're CEC then feel free to make the change.

2 - That's fine as long as you're not claiming points for such experience.

Hello everybody!
My name on Passport and Academic Documents is different. As my birth certificate and Indian academic docs do not have my last name & my passport and Canadian study documents have my last name on it. I do have newspaper copy of my name change from India. Is the newspaper copy and LOE enough for legal name change proof or do I need to get an affidavit too?

If you have any question....i will try to answer all your questions....

Hi briandg,

I lived in US for one year till 2015 and I got a police certificate in June 2016. However, I visited US in Oct 2016 for a week.
I am just wondering whether my old police certificate is still accepted for EE or I need to apply for a new one.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My selfemployment was not declared by immigration agent in India while I applied Study Permit and than after I did same thing in my workpermit.

Is there anyway to claim my Indian work experience as selfemployed ?
I have IT Return of my company and business registration.

Hi friends

Need advice,

just got married 2 weeks back, will go back to canada and apply for my wife.she is a working girl and have around 5 to 6 years experience in the field of web programing.

Should i go for spousal application or make her apply seperately through Express Entry to get her to canada quickly?

Regards

A quick question: I have received the ITA and continued with the application. After inputting the application details (e.g. personal activity and travel history), I assume the system will generate a checklist for me. Can I then go back to change things I have input in the application details?

If I can, will a new checklist be generated to reflect the changes I have made! Thanks!

I just wanted prepare the documents in parallel with inputting the more complicated application details.

Hi, i created my EE last oct.4, 2016 and my CRS overall score is 322. Does my score enough for ITA qualification? Last notice i received was on dec. 3,2016 regarding the changes of LMIa. Until now i haven't receive any notices.. please help what will be my next step.
Thank you very much..

My father visited a police station in Karachi (east district) for my spouse PCC, as she has lived in two different districts the police officer said he can give only for East, rest is with the other police station in central. Should i upload the two PCCs for spouse?

Yes, you can go back any number of times and the checklist would reflect the changes accordingly. If you want to get an idea about the checklist, you can check the first post here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ready-reference-steps-to-follow-and-documents-to-arrange-post-ita-t455826.0.html

Hello experts!!

Need your inputs on work experience scenario for my cousin in Vancouver.

My cousin has 2 years of Canadian work experience (NOC 2282) and is still employed with his work permit expiring May 2017.

He also has work experience from India (NOC 2282) but it is "self-employment" and he has never disclosed this to CIC anytime in the past during his study permit and work permit applications. Although he has satisfactory evidence to substantiate this "self-employed" work experience in India like Business Registration, Income Tax Returns, Client Invoices, etc.

Is it advisable to present this Indian work-experience in this Express Entry profile and gain points towards it?

Is there anyone who has faced a similar dilemma previously and received successful PR?

Thank you for your inputs!

Hi,

I have collected all the documents I need to submit on the ITA.
My current passport is going to be expired in June of 2017. I have already booked an appointment with the Consulate in Toronto applying for a new passport in February. However, the new passport estimated to arrive in late March. Should I submit all the documents with current passport information for AOR now, or should I wait until I get my new passport?

Thanks a lot!

In the recent changes made in Nov 2016, IRCC has done away with the option 2 or more degree/diploma etc. I recently checked my profile . Although my scores had not changed, the education tab for my spouse was incomplete due to this issue.

However I need your help guys on what field to select.

Below is the summary of my wife's ECA

Now for 1 , I have selected Bachelors and for 3, I have selected one year diploma/certificate/.....etc etc

The issue I m facing is for 2nd credential. The Canadian equivalency is bachelors of education , it does not say degree/certificate/diploma and also no. of years is missing though it was for 1 year . What should I do?

TIA

Hi,

I was going through my divorce while I was having my common law relationship. I have a daughter from my marriage as well as from the common law relationship. I received the invitation and submitted application and then I was interviewed by the local Canadian embassy and requested the divorce certificate for them to progress with the case. But, I ended up with not getting the divorce after 3 years of courts trial. But my husband agreed and signed the documents to take his daughter to Canada with me. I informed this new change plus Common Law relationship and the new born information to the local Canadian embassy and they requested a list of documents including evidence to process the application, which I provided in full.

Has anyone faced a situation as such..what could be the next steps?
