If you are already working in Canada there is no need to show funds. I have read that in CIC website

Proof of funds is not required only if you have a job with LMIA.

That makes sense. We have to show in our account that we have funds according to family size

If you have done your post graduate diploma from Canada and having masters from home country, we can also use masters as it states in EE profile whether canadian degree or ECA.

So i can use my masters right?

Hi there,

I am planning for Express Entry FSWP and have couple of questions.

1. I am the principal applicant and my spouse would be accompanying me. I am trying to get points for my spouse's education as well. Should I get ECA done for my spouse's bachelors degree as well? She has done bachelors degree (regular) and masters degree (correspondence/ distance education) from India.

2. Like we have for education, do we have assessment requirements for work experiences as well?

Cheers,
Lingam

1. You can certainly get your spouse's ECa done which will cost you 280 CAD approx. and will fetch you 10 points.
2. There's nothing called assessment of work experience. But there's certainly work experience reference letters from all previous employers and even better if you can get some reference letter from clients that you have worked for in Canada.

Hi everyone! I just submitted my express entry profile but i got 0 for the education part? I included the years for my secondary school/high school years and I also had a diploma for Bachelor of Science which i took for 4 yrs. I don't have an ECA. Is that why it is reflecting as 0 points?
