score 850
any chances ?

you should stop going to canadavisa.com......

....

and start preparing application documents. :P (jk)

as @curious_123 said, with PNP or LMIA, you are almost certain in getting ITA

I have been working in Canada for over 1 year on PGWP and had post-secondary education in Canada. Just uploaded my EE. However, I received a message after the profile is submitted. It says

In your profile, you said that you do not have a valid job offer in Canada or a provincial or territorial nomination.
Therfore, in order to activate your profile and beligble to be invited to aply for permanent residence, you must
register with (job bank website)

Apparently this affect my points in CRS - Skill Transferability - Education . Which field did I fill incorrectly and resulted in this message?

The CRS self test has awarded me 40 points for canadian work experience. When i plugged all the numbers in the actual application, i was awarded 0. I have a PGWP ( open work permit) and have been working in Canada for the past 1.75 years. Why am i not being given any points? although the CRS did award me.

I am not asking for the 600 points, just the 40 for experience that the self said i would be eligible for.

Please let me know

Hi members

I am interested in submitting Express entry profile.. I am BTech (Electronics) and MBA qualified with total 5 years of IT Software experience

I have got mine MBA assessed by ECA as equivalent to Canada-Masters degree

I have following questions. Would need your answers

1) For NOC-2173 (Software engineers), does the qualification has to match with the ones stated in "Employment requirements" on NOC site OR can be any masters degree. Since I have got MBA assessed by ECA only

2) Do I need to get mine BTech assessed as well for claiming points on Qualifications OR Masters assessment is sufficient.

thanks
Kumar

Thank you very much to all your brilliant ideas and help.. I was able to officially submit my application and have the Express Entry profile and also registered in the job bank..
Thank you so much guys..

I am now asking if I have to apply to job hiring related to my work in job bank?
Do I need to send them my resume or they will be notify me if there is an available job related to my field?

Still hoping to get help from you, awesome guys....

Glad to hear that you were able to submit your profile successfully. In terms of apply for jobs related to your work experience I really am not sure. I have read on the forum that people are not being awarded for points in work history if it is not related to their intended occupation. Thus, I'd say try to get jobs that are as close to your intended occupation as possible. After all, if you do not have the related work experience you won't get the job. Although these employers are willing to hire foreign workers to fill the shortages, they are still picky, so make sure you are looking for jobs that are related to your field.

As for submitting resumes, you can do that to any employers (even the one not in job bank). Let say if you have a company in mind that you'd like to work for you can try submitting your resume to that company. Or, if you happen to come across an opportunity through different media then you can apply yourself to it. Just remember: bigger companies and corporations tend to stay out of hiring foreign nationals because they do not want to get involve in the LMIA process and the labour laws that follow. On the other hand, employers who post jobs in the job bank know what they are getting themselves into (i.e. they know they have to go through the process to obtain a positive LMIA and know how to do it).

Good Luck.

Hi here,

I sent my original ielts with CEC application in last year, if i get invited by EE, can I just sent a copy of ielts result?

Thanks !!~

Language test results generally valid for 2 years. If your test results are about to expire you may want to consider re-writing one because it needs to be valid when you submit your PR application after you have received an invitation to apply.

I have 65 points in fsw. I checked i am not eligible for express entry.
My question is , if i managed to bet a job offer with positive lmia..then i would be eligible for express entry ??

Kindly advice.

It really depends. Having a job offer with a positive LMIA will give you an extra 600 points; however, if you do not meet other requirements then you won't be eligible either.

Good Luck.

Hello Sir,
Could you please tell me what is sealed transcript.
does it require all semester mark sheet or only the final marksheet?

Sealed transcript probably means an office transcript issued by the school you attended and obtained the degree and it is sealed in an envelop with a stamp of the school as the seal to prove that the document has not been tempered.

Why not both? You can have your profile in EE pool while PNP in the process. If PNP goes through, you can update the profile and claim PNP points (don't quote me yet) or withdraw EE profile and go with standard PNP.

In order to claim that extra 600 points with a PNP Nomination you need to first create a EE Profile then apple to the PNP EE programs (or be selected by one of the provinces for EE). At the moment, most provinces do not have the PNP EE programs out yet, so you will need to create your profile first and wait for the PNP EE programs to come out in your province. Once the programs are out you can then apply to the PNP EE programs using your EE profile # and job seeker code. After a nomination has been issued you then go back to your EE Profile to update the information and then contact your PNP officer to have them confirm with CIC within 30 days.

One more question.

I was not eligible in my first attempt. Automatically a new empty profile appeared and I have just under 60 days to complete it. The issue is, that I still have to get ECA for my degrees, this will take a while. If I don't submit by 60 days, will I get another chance?

You can create a new profile because the old one will become inactive.
