It is not straightforward but possible. People get rejected often without local experience. So, it primarily depends on your communication skills and knowledge about local culture. It would be tough. You expect good salary I believe. Candian employers do not consider foreign experience as equivalent (unfortunate!). That can bring your compensation and job title few levels down. I am sure you are a qualified person. For PR, you could try with the Atlantic provinces.Any chance for a person with 25+ years of experience in marketing.

Me and my husband are planning to apply for the Canadian PR through express entry. I will be the primary applicant and I have already applied for evaluation of my educational credentials through WES. I would also like to get my husband's educational credentials evaluated by WES, thinking this can help us to get more points. He has done a three years diploma in Mechanical Engineering by the STED Council. He did this through an institute in Kochi. Can anyone tell me if WES would accept this diploma? I checked in the link https://applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool. But this link does not show any diploma programs. So how do I apply & get to know if WES would accept a three years diploma in Mechanical Engineering by the STED Council.
