Hi everyone,

Does anyone know why there are no updates since January 26th? Usually there is one every now and then but it's been a long time that nothing is happening.
In my case they asked for an interview and after 12 days they cancelled it telling us that they will book another one and so far no news from them regarding new date for interview, This cost me 425$ cancellation fee since my wife booked a trip for a tour from Tehran. I emailed them and told them what happened and all they told is that as soon as they have a new date they will let us know. I really don't know what is going on. I am afraid now after the original interview date has past they will contact and say why she didn't show up and probably they will ask us to start over after almost 8 month waiting. :(

I am also from AB and have heard absolutely nothing about my husband's application since sponsorship approval. Very frustrating when people who have applied after us have already received PPR and we haven't even gone into process.

Are you in process? or decisions made? embassy ask from you any document or update?
They did ask for more documents and we are in process. They also asked for the last payment. So I assume ppr will come soon. But it is nice to see other people are also getting their visas. For 3 weeks there has been no updates. There are also others after us who got their pprs already. So I don't know what we are waiting for either.

The Ankara office has changed the processing time from 14 months to 10 months. Let's hope all the applications result in ppr soon....

Hi Friend,
I am sorry i cant help you with the doctors name because they never tell you or put their name on papers or anything, but i can tell you how much it cost me in American Hospital in Nişantaşı.
Its around 120 $ for an adult person. I dont know how much is it for a child. And it takes about an hour for everything to be done. But i am not sure if they do the same things that they did to me or some diffrent checks for skill workers.
Sorry that my experience is not that helpful but atleast you know how much to pay ;)
Good luck

A question for all user, any thoughts is really appreciated
My mother underwent medical test medical exam last year, including some expensive tests by specialists, now due to delay in processing her file, her medical expired and she has to redo medical tests.
My question is if she should do the basic tests(blood. urine, xrays) or she has to redo all tests by specialist again.

I think you should ask that to the embassy. The doctors might know the answer as well. But I think when it expires the tests expire as well. Because those tests are part of the whole medical exam. This is my opinion. To make sure I would ask to the embassy. Hope she doesn't need to get them done again. Good luck!

Hi, I have a question and I appreciate if anyone can help.
I am from Iran and a citizen of Canada. over 3 months go I applied for my wife under family class (spousal). My application was received by CIC at the end of Nov. and now I see December applicants are getting their AORs and SAs.
I had to receive emails about the approval two weeks ago or so!!!
I called them a few times and I was told they are still working on it! and I have to wait more. Has anyone experienced this on stage 1 (sponsor) approval? Is his normal? Any suggestions?
