just want to tell u something happened
my husband went to MP last week to tell him about our application...today the Mp called my husband and said that the embassy send him email they said that they were asked us to do the 2nd medical and till now they don't getting the result of the medical ...and the application at the final stage ....

soooooo happy for you soso its really good news yabrab you will.get ur visa soon And.be with ur husband ASAP.

thank u inshallah,,, yes i did my medical in 1-4-2013 and i don't know why i didn't got the results till now ..maybe bcuz my medical for x-ray only i didn't do every thing

i'm palestinian syrian ,was living in Syria when my wife applied for a sponsor application,so my file was sent to Ottawa in 21 of January 2013,
i've recently received an email from them

"Good day,

Your file has been sent to Amman for review. At the present time, no further action is required from you. If information is required, an officer will be in contact with you.

Regards, "

does any one know how much time the review takes usually ,i have no information about Amman office,

unfortunately nobody would know how long, have done medical yet? it could be as fast as a few months or as long as over 2 years , the reasonable expectation would be at lease a year or so.

My file been in Ottawa and it was sent to amman in june for review only, so it's not like it will start from beginning

Still nobody knows, chances are they want Amman to review it to determine if the marriage was genuine, or due to security concerns, Amman office is currently highly unpredictable, this job should not take longer than 1 month ideally, but that is only if they don't have thousands of files sitting there awaiting processing, and just recently another bad news,some officers are going into strike!!:

onbelievable today my friend he show me the e mail got from canadian embbasy in beirut for his wife to issue the visa for hir

Hello everyone. After 22 months in stage 2, my husband finally got the long awaited email! Alhamdulliah rabil alameen.

I'm so happy!!!!

Here's my timeline for those who are curious:
-Sent application to CIC in May 2011
-Got approved for sponsorship in June 2011
-Application received in Damascus on August 29, 2011

Then a loooooooong period of nothing

-Then in Dec. 2012, husband was asked to redo medical

Then another period of nothing

-Then finally on June 16 2013, got the GOLDEN EMAIL!!!
