Our application was in amman but they transferred it to Bucharest last year.
Inshallah we hear something soon

Ours was in Security for a very long time! Don't forget that it is done by a 3rd party organization and no the visa office itself. Ameen Inshallah!

It all has to do with the security check. My friend's husband just got here and it took exactly 25 months for their application to be completed. Their security check took 11 months. My security check has been 8 months so far I think. Anyone else wants to share their info?

I sent my application to sponsor my husband but i live in quebec so i think its not the same process. My husband is syrian but lives in saudi arabia. They started processing our application on October 19 2016. Our application was first sent to bucharest but then when we sent them his medical exam, they wrote back to us to inform us that the application is in amman.

I hope it will be over by january, but i have a feeling they arent going to respect the processing time on their website.
How do you guys know when they start the security check?

I am sponsoring my Jordanian wife as she is a June 2017 applicant. We have completed all necessary papers including schedule A and medical status pass as well.Her file has been forwarded to Bucharest for further processing. Any idea what will be done next and for how long this process will take to the end?

After 12 mos if silence and doing the BC they requested for the 4th time the military history....
After a month they requested to redo the medical....

I think new applications from 9-12. I don’t know why most of them took 2 years. I know many within 10 months and Iraqis from Iraq!!!
