hi everyone ... i hope that u will receive the pr soooon god with u all :)

It has been so long since I came on this site. At the moment I am staying with my husband until he gets his approval (I am a canadian citizen) . My In-laws applied to go and visit their daughter in Montreal 3 weeks ago, and today they got a letter stating that they have been refused. So they are now re-applying.

I am so upset that the processing time has went up from 19 months to 22 months. Anyone who has applied from the beginning of Jan. 2013 .. anything new ? Checked online and it still says "Application Received" :( I am not liking it in Amman at all. I miss Canada so much.

Also,

My lawyer who is taking care of our case just emailed me saying that our file is now in queue for an officer review. I am hoping by the end of December inshallah at least. However most of her clients that are applying are Egyptians and they are getting their PRs within 7 months. :o I'm so surprised.

after 22 month the change my application status to process

Hi everybody,
My wife did the 2nd medical examination on July 12, 2012. Then in August she got the trucking Number when she called Ibn Bitar hospital. I sent this number to the Embassy immediately. The embassy today sent me e-mail saying that they haven't received the results yet. Could this happen ? they also asking for medical exam Receipt and also asking when and where my wife did her second medical exam ? My question : Did the hospital gave my wife a receipt or any other document so I can send it to the embassy ? Any suggestions or information please ? Thanks

Do you mean that the Cairo visa applicant can get the PR early ? !!

I am not sure. But when my lawyer and I finished all the paper work and put all the documents together , there was a man who was applying and had finished all the paper work at the same time as me and he was using my lawyer as his representative, so when my lawyer sent in both of our files, I got my approval within 3 weeks and he got his after 1.5 month.. but his wife got the PR VISA last week or I believe she got it this week. So basically it took them 7 months.

She called about our file and they said "its in queue for a officer review". Because the embassy is dealing with not only Jordanian files but Iraq files and Syrian files.. it is taking a bit longer for us. I am hoping my husband gets his approval before the end of this year inshallah. I am really missing Canada.

Really? I didn't know that they deal with other countries. But the man that applied at the same time as me, his wife got it within 7 months. Do you have a representative like a lawyer? or you did it all by yourself?

Hi Soso,

My status changed to "In Process" almost exactly a year after I was approved for sponsorship, that very same day they sent us an email asking for new medical exams and police certificate.

I applied for sponsorship June 2012, approved Aug 22, changed to in process aug 28th of this year. Hopefully its a quicker process for you, I was in Jordan for a total of 8 months in the last year and just recently came back because my husband received a multiple visit visa valid until 2015. Maybe you can try applying for a visit visa for him and that way you could both come back sooner.

I wish you all the best, Inshallah you'll hear good news very soon.

You know sometimes they receive it but thy dont check properly. This happened to me when they asked for the appendix A. I sent it right away. After they sent me an email saying they will be processing the file as is without the appendix A if they dont receive ot immediately. I was so frusterated because they threatened to refuse my case when it is their fault. I told them. Later they sent another email saying they found it. So make sure you send them an email with the tracking number again and explain your case. If you can, track the number yourself make sure it was delivered, make a copy of that also.

I dont know if they gave your wife a receipt but maybe she can go bak to the hospital. Maybe the doctor has a copy of the results or something.

I really hope everything goes well with you. Good luck
