if before interview these are done , now what background checks are being done ???

Hello everyone. Can anyone please help me with this, I'm filling this form IMM5669 after being requested to submit updated forms. There is a question I'm not sure about, it is in section 6: been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa or application to the province nominee program) or a visitor or temporary resident visa, to canada or any other country. My husband won the appeal in march after I failed the interview for permanent residence in November 2014.

Thank you for replying! I wasn't sure whether I should click yes or no to that after my application was denied in 2014 but we filed for an appeal after n appeal was allowed this year.
Even after my husband won the appeal n now my file is back in processed, I'm still worried that they might find something wrong in my application n give me another interview x_x after a bad experience with a vo 2 years ago I don't want it happen to me again

thanks for helping me....guys i filed in apeal in February 2016 plz let me know how much i have to wait...when i will receive blue book and date of hearng or adr????reply plz i am worried alot...my lawyer told me 120 days....help olz

If you are in Toronto the wait time is about 2 years to get a full hearing, less for ADR. Don't worry about the process, just gather as much evidence as you can in the meantime and go over all your evidence with your spouse.

It may take up to 2 months before the IAD send you a confirmation letter.

Look like your application is on a good track. They usually do the security and background check after interview and before they issue the visa. Just hang in there you should be getting your PPR next.

If you were denied a TRV, the answer has to be 'yes'.

hi there, i sent my application in October 2014 and the processing started on 29th jan 2015..got the refusal in May and appealed in June..and then got my blue book in september 2015 and date for ADR was given in mid of January 2016..ADR won on 8th March 2016, written confirmation sent 15th of March 2016 and medical and other updated forms asked on 15th of April 2016..i am sending all my updated forms and all other documents tomorrow. and my case is being reprocessed in Canada… the process is running pretty fast in my case i'd say..but never know how long are they gonna take after i send all the required docs to the office.

can you plz help us how to prepare for ADR ?what type of document they beliv that marriage is real not fake.

hello guys ...when they ask you for an interview...can you tell me if they give you a specific date ...and how short period it could be since they ask you ?....probably I a not being very clear coz I do not know how to explain ...in few months I will probably go with my husband in a vacation in other country so I am just wondering what if right in that time they will ask for the interview???...

Yes the VO send us an email on a on the May14/15 and the email said to go there may 21/15 But in our case, that last VO who processed last part of file, and same one who did the interview was not going to approve us at all. No matter what my husband said or proof he gave her. This was for first interview. I was approved as sponsor, file transferred fast. Asked for second fee, more proof and what my husband did from time of application til Feb 2015. She had her mind made up to say no, I could tell from how he explained how the interview went. We prepared ourselves for a no and she sent it only a couple days later.
You ask about the first interview? Some lucky ones don't even have interview.

thx for your answer...yes I ask about the first interview...wow they send you an email on 14-15 and toldu t go there on 21 ...preety fast...hmmmm so it s bad if you are out of the country ...
