Congratulations this is exciting, please the VAC office should open in Nigeria as I am expecting good news soon.
My husband received COPR back in February and was lining up for a landing appointment at an office in Canada (he’s been here on a visitor status since January). But all the offices and POE are closed due to COVID since March. No word on when anything will resume service. Used the web form multiple times and still get the same template email response that doesn’t provide any practical advice. His COPR will expire in Dec 2020. Do we have any other options other than him flying out of Canada and entering again to complete his landing?

Our appeal got approved on 11th June 2020. It will be 13 weeks tomorrow. From the threads n posts which I went through are all of 2019. I didn't find a single from June or July 2020. I would be highly obliged if someone with a similar issue and who is facing the same jitter of delayed response from the IRCC can respond to this and let me know their experience. Fyi, I am from India and our case is of family sponsorship, under PGP.
I saw this on the visa office website in Nigeria, so I think visas are been given in VAC office.

The Canada VAC in "Lagos" is closed to the public, but will provide passport return services via courier only with effect from 20th July 2020 (Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 to 15:00). A VAC representative will contact applicants whose passports are ready to be returned and will provide further details regarding how passports will be returned to applicants via the courier service provided by the VAC.
