@ Aajaaz thanks for sharing the above info.

@Ume just to update yourself, I got confirmation from London that Provincial Nominee applications are processed btw 6-8 months when a complete file is received at London.

They did not state any different processing timelines btw nationals or residents or applicants from other countries with London visa office.
So I assume it 6-8 months is correct..... now will make a plea to CIO for London visa office... lets c what happens.

(Although I still could not figure out why they are displaying 21 months on the link I have quoted in my previous posts.)

Hi

I wish this given timeline was true in case of Pakistani applicants. So far none of previous applicants got PR visa within even 8 months.

Last year, few applicants(2-3) got visa in/after 10 months minimum but there are many last year's applicants who are still waiting :-(

So I guess this 21 months timeline is for Pakistani applicants.

Wish you all the best. I hope you'll be able to get PR within 6 months.

Regards

Hi Pakistani Friends,

I have joined this forum today for a specif reason.

I want to migrate to Quebec basically i am from Pakistan and whenever i visit any Agent or Consultant they give me separate reasons/steps. I have Bachelor Degree in Computer Science(3 Years prog). Working as Software Engineer and carrying 7 years of experience. I am 32 years old i have recently taken ielts with result(L7.0,R6.5,W7.5,S7.5) but do not have any commands on French.

My question is what are the steps for Quebec Immigration and what certificates(how many) do i need to submit while lodging my Quebec application?
Hi Kashif

Sorry for late response. I really don't know anything about Quebec requirements & its procedure.

Kindly check out following forum & post your query over there. I hope it would be more helpful.

Thanks Adnan. I have noticed your timeline is one month ahead of mine.

Just a quick question for you as well as Ume Rayan, I being a family stream applicant, does it matter if the NOC allocated by AINP does not fully matches my work experience? This is in specific reference to the option 2 and 4 of additional document request regarding settlement plan and how I would economically establish myself.

Thanks!

Aajaz,

Try to tailor your work experience to match as much as possible to allocated NOC but don't go far away from what your initial experience certificate says.
I think a little diparity of your work experience from NOC should not result in any seroius consequence at this stage of processing.

Adnan

Re: All Pakistani PNP Applicants submitted file @ CIO in 2012

Hello All,

My application is almost ready and planning to send it out next week (I got PNP nomination from Ontario in FSW Backlog Pilot) . Just wanted to confirm a few things and would appreciate if someone would help:

1- My understanding is that we need to send *original* 1 page Ontario nomination certificate (with 'COPY' stamped over it in blue) along with *photocopy* of 3 page letter.
2- Do we have to get document photocopies certified by notary public this time? The checklist doesn't mention this.
3- We only have to send photocopy of Passport pages with required information (Passport#, Issue, Expiry, Photo, etc) and not the complete passport with blank pages as was the case when it was sent earlier to Ontario FSW. All this requested information is contained on 1st page of passports in Pakistan.
4- My completed IMM0008 form generation 2 pages of barcodes (barcodes + consent/declaration). I've printed 2 copies of barcode pages, one to go on top whereas the other as part of IMM0008. Hope this is correct.

Thanks in advance,
Fahad

Hi Aajaz

According to my assumptions, NOC doesn't matter a lot in case of PNP (family stream) applicants, but still 90% of our duties should match to our allocated NOC to avoid mismatch. So just to be on safe side, try to highlight/focus your duties which are exactly same as mentioned under your NOC.
