I have applied in April and according to your famous consulting firm I am supposed to get MR soon but the fact is my status is still RBVO.
As per my observation you have no chance before 2012. Let's see which month will be predicted by Mr. fortuneteller of this thread :)

Dear,

You are a post June applicant and you are supposed not to worry. ;D
This is for pre June applicants (between 28 feb 2008 and 26 June 2010) and more likely to happen to many of them unfortunately >:(

>> this information is not fully correct. It appears that post june 26 (MI2)applications are now being assessed by all VOs on priority basis meaning pre june 26(MI1) applications will be significanty delayed unless your occupation is on the current list. Many MI1 applicants found their BF'D to be in 2013, an indication of about 2 years delay. Consultancy agencies in Dhaka may give misleading information. Recently i saw an advert by an agency who claims to expedite all the pre 2008 pending files as if they have mama/chacha at SGVO!! I suggest you order the CAIPS notes that will give you a projected processing timeline. Thanks, mmh93 >>

It could be true that some SGVO applicants who applied in march & april (status:in process)are getting the MR now as some of us (post june applicants) are in process for 1-3 months & waiting for MR :(
SGVO might be clearing some pre-june backlog & kept us(post-june) waiting..
but i think after clearing some april/may applicantions they will start sending MR to post-june applicants who are in process as post-june applicants are in priority. so, you might need to wait some more days to get your MR..

my 2 cents,

Dr.Hasib

10 months starting from application filed, or after 'received by visa office'?

In_Dhaka,
did you get your 2nd AOR from SGVO?

In_Dhaka said:
Unfortunately, no! :(
that's strange!
DId u apply by yourself or by agent? IF you applied by agent then 2nd AOR should have arrived to your agent's address.
Does your E-cas show your/your agents postal address?
