its absolutely a normal fee for a bank like Standard Chartered. if they could give you an official statement/voucher/money receipt for that inquiry charge of $25, then why not. pay for the information you'd get.

I lodged my file 27th jan...per on 22nd march......10th apr status recieved by visa office....since then no aor...is that normal....am i supposed to recieve my aor by email or by post?..i am sure u wll give me some idea....thanks

you will get your 2nd AOR by post...
SGVO for some reason has become too slow, so you might need to wait

Recently I got job transfer to another place, in this case, do I need to notify this change to Visa Office? If so than, what I have to do to notify this change to Visa Office (London). My employer is still same, just my work place changed. Please help me in this regard.

I have filed my application in May 2011 with application fee as a standard chartered DD. Now I went to standard chartered bank to know whether my DD is encashed or not. They said for this information they will charge me $25!!! Is it normal charge? Please help me out.

Heard that Singaproe VO is one of the very worst VOs (in terms of processing speed and communications), anybody heard of it? Hope it is just rumor, but recently SGVO is simply too quiet and too slow .

Hi All,

I am new in this group.I applied in September,10.Got my PER in January,2011 and got my 2nd AOR (From Singapore VO) in middle of March,2011.
My E-CAS status is RBVO.
I have heard from a person that Since I sent all my bank statements up to September,10.So I need to sent up-to-date bank statement and solvency certificate to Singapore Vo right now. Though they did't ask for my bank documents.Is it necessary?
So Please suggest me in this case.

I got same info too.. but few of our applicants already got visa in 10 months!! So not really sure what's going on in SGVO.. May be they will send all the MRs of post june pending applicants together at one go
