Hey guys,

I submitted my application last week and it was received per canada post.I realized I sent form 1344(08-2014) but I missed the section where it says I intend to live in a Canadian province or Teri toy other than canada. I did not select anything. Should I be proactive and send a new form with a letter or just wait for them to get back to me whether they will send back the whole app or just ask for that form. Already starting on a bad note :l

Don't send an updated form because they won't be able to match it up with your application yet. Right now, since you just sent the application to Mississauga, it is sitting in a pile with all the other received applications. When your application is opened and assessed, you will receive a UCI number. Only when they have done this initial assessment and given you a UCI number, will they be able to match anything up with the rest of your application. They will contact you and let you know if they require an updated form. Until then, unfortunately, there isn't mich you can do except wait.

exactly, don't assume anything about anything. when i reread my application after sending it, i found multiple simple questions i left blank. i was not asked to redo the forms, and had no issue getting approved. with family class pr, i doubt where you plan to settle has any bearing on the application getting approved.

just sit tight and if CIC needs a new form, they will certainly let you know.
