Dec 2016,, medical jan 2018. spouse added april 2018.. Spouse med aug 2018.. background check done.. Now file is in queue for final review.. Any idea

Redo medical for me and to my daughter -sept 2018
Decision made in ecas -oct 10,2018
Copr invitation interview letter request to my email - nov 2 2018
Scheduled Copr landing interview - nov 23,2018 landed and confirmed my permanent residency at local cic office today!
After 30 months of waiting finally I’am now permanent resident today!

Congratulations. I added spouse after ppr and waiting for his medical. Nobody have any idea how long its gonna take.

today they request wife police clearance from rcmp
wife rcmp finger print submitted on 31 october
9 of nov they requested my rcmp
28 nov i submitted my rcmp finger print
5 dec i got mail directly from officer who is working on my file for verify resident address
what does it means ?
yesterday i call cic agent told me all looks good taday this mail

I have similar situation as your but I applied on 13 June 2016 rest is similar. Last update was that the officer asked me some general question regarding my work and residence address of me and my family and that was on Oct 11 2018 since then there has been no update. When I call CIC it still says need additional docs and background check in progress. After calling them I found that sometimes the officer doesn't update the file thats why its saying need additional docs. My security is not started according to the rep on the phone. Really frustrating

Made call to cic today again. They were like they have requested for my medical extension on 9th Nov but didn’t get any response yet. She was like we requested medical extension so i and my spouse can have plenty of time for landing. Because my medical is expiring in 08 january 2019 so they can not give copr beyond this date. Idk how long they gonna take to finalize and make a decision on file.. Any idea peeps
