AAIP - Alberta Rural Renewal Stream

Hi everyone, we have a very tricky question about the AAIP rural renewal stream. Currently, we are living in an Alberta rural city, which is eligible for the endorsement. My husband is now working to fulfill the 1-year work experience requirement. My question is, when he reaches his 1 year of work experience, can he ask for an endorsement letter on his current job with his current employer under rural renewal stream? Or does he have to find a vacant job with a new employer who is participating in the rural renewal for recruitment?

Thank you for your attention! We are really confused at this point. We hope that he doesn't need to switch his job but just ask his current employer to do some extra steps to help with this process.

You can ask for the endorsement letter to your current employer and can apply your PNP. There is no need to find the new job. You can continue the current job. If you want to leave that job after one year, you are still eligible to apply for Rural program as you have completed a year there
