Alberta Opportunity Stream Total Work Experience

I'm badly in need of help.

I got ITA in Alberta Opportunity Stream, in PGWP, currently doing field job in AB. I have also 1 year of foreign experience in my backhome which is not within the last 18 months.When creating EOI, I claimed point for total 1 year experience (8 months in PGWP + 1 year foreign). In the work experience requirement page, it says, PGWP holder requires minimun of 6 months full time experience in current occupation within the last 18 months. I thought that time this 18 months time frame should be applicable for only current employment that is 8 months for me.

But when i accepted the ITA and started filling work history section it says to add previous work history in the past 18 months only. Is that means all the work experience (including pgwp+foreign) should be within last 18 months?

I'm now confused whether I make a wrong point claim of 1 year experience.

Anybody please give some insight.

At the time your application is submitted you must have either:

• a minimum of 12 months full-time work experience in your current occupation in Alberta within the last 18 months, or
• a minimum of 24 months of full-time work experience in your current occupation in Canada or abroad within the last 30 months or both – this work experience can be a combination of experience gained in Alberta, in Canada (outside Alberta) or abroad.

Post-Graduation Work Permit holders require a minimum of 6 months full-time work experience in your current occupation in Alberta within the last 18 months.

So if you studied in Alberta in your field, you need meet one of the first two bullets PLUS the PGWP statement of 6 months work.
