Hi everyone!

I have two questions regarding the PR confirmation process:
  1. I received the P1 email at my email address, my wife's email address, and my daughter's email address (which is the same as mine). Do I need to reply separately from each email, or can I reply once from my email and include everyone's information in the same response?
  2. Regarding the photo upload in P2, I have a recent digital passport photo, but I don't have the back of the photo showing the photographer's information and details. Can I use the digital photo as it is, or do I also need to upload the back of the photo with the photographer's details?
Thanks in advance for your help!

1. i suggest you to reply as a main applicant with everyone detail's from main applicant's email. Also reply from dependent's emails of their details.
2. you do not need to upload back of the photo). no photographer's or studio detail's needed. however, make sure your photo is not more than a year old.

Thanks for your reply! I checked the IRCC website, and it says that even with a digital photo, you still need to provide the photographer's details and studio confirmation. That's why I'm a bit confused!

If your photographer gave you a digital copy of your photo, upload a document with your photo that includes
  • the information that would normally be listed on the back of the photo
    • the name and date of birth of the person in the photo
    • the date the photo was taken
    • the name and complete address of the photo studio
  • a confirmation from the photo studio (for example, a receipt)

That photograph requirement is for other applications. You gotta trust someone who already got eCoPR 4 days ago :p
YES! you do not need photograph detail(back of the photo) for eCoPR/PR card. even you have to edit(crop) the photo using photo tool on PR portal.

Congratulations on receiving P1!
  1. P1 reply: If IRCC sent separate P1 emails, follow the instructions in each email. If one email covers the whole family, you can generally provide everyone's details together in one reply. Make sure all family members are included and clearly identified.
  2. P2 photo: You can upload a digital passport-style photo, provided it meets the PR Portal's specifications. However, IRCC may require the photographer's details and photo information. Check the photo requirements in your P2 instructions before uploading. If the portal requests this information, ask your photographer for a digital copy of the required details.
My advice is to follow the specific instructions in your P1 and P2 emails carefully to avoid delays. Good luck with your eCOPR!
