I’m August 28 2024 applicant and to date haven’t even received my pre arrival or eligibility letter

Sharing my PR timeline Protected Person. 04 Sep 2024 – PR application submitted. 03 Apr 2025 – Biometrics completed 12 Mar 2026 – Pre-Arrival Services letter 19 Mar 2026 – Eligibility approved

Current status: Waiting for final decision

If everything goes smoothly, hoping for a decision soon. Otherwise, it may take around 6–12 monthsfor finalization.

Just received this update from my MP. Do you guys know how long it usually takes for Security to be processed?

Criminality – Passed – January 27, 2025
Medical – Passed – Valid until February 8, 2025

Nothing is currently pending.

The application remains within standard processing times. For protected person applications inside Canada, it is currently in its 5th month, with processing expected to remain within normal timelines until September 7, 2026.

Security really has no fixed timeline . I learnt number of countries you been to counts
Mine took days , some people waiting for 17 months. It’s unique for everyone.
