When did your security screening start ?

Called ircc on 03.30 was advised security was requested march 12 but had not started. I noticed a ghost update on gckey on 03.31 and then final decision on 04.1 and p1 the Day after

I think January to June 2024 has not seen any change since eligibility and prearrival. I am losing sleep daily.

There is no fixed timeline based on what i am noticing anymore; persons receive updates at different stages. For example, in my case, my spouse in Canada received their eligibility letter on 30 May 2025, and the very next day, 31 May, I received my pre-arrival letter.

Again, not exactly as next month - it will be one year since i have received my pre-arrival and eligibility for my spouse which cleared me as a dependant also

i just called ircc they said background check and security check they both are done just waiting on final decision right now how long would that take? since me and u received the elegibility letter on the same day but i still havent received final decision or p1

You are almost there. My security completed on 03.31. Final decision april 1st and p1 april 2nd
