For protected person cases, many people receive final decision 1–3 months after Pre-Arrival or sometimes faster (few weeks) if not longer if security check is still ongoing

I have moved to another province, should I update my address with IRCC or it will delay my final decision
If you’ve moved to another province, you should update your address with IRCC as soon as possible. It will not delay your final decision, in fact, not updating it could cause problems. Such as IRCC may send you important mail (PR card, biometrics letter, etc.).

If Someone has protected person status and planning to move another province they need to transfer their case or just update an address to IRCC

Once you are officially recognized as a Protected Person, your status is federal (IRCC). Update your address with IRCC & do this within 10 days of moving.
When moving provinces, you should also update provincial health card, Driver’s license, Bank, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), School records (if applicable) etc..
