Ok did you requested GCMS notes or linked your account with GC KEY?

After two years, I received a new email from Immigration today. The subject of the email is "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada - Communication to client/Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada - Communication auprès de la clientèle - CPCM / CTDM - PP REF-CDA Application Kit Letter Pilot G000-----", and it includes a PDF with a list of documents that I must submit. It also states the following: "This request applies to you and any family members included in your application, who have Convention Refugee or Protected Person status in Canada."
In my case, I am in Canada with my daughter and my wife, and I am also processing permanent residence for my son, who is in my country of origin. Based on what I quoted above, would this apply only to the people who are here in Canada?

For applicants under the DR2 (Dependents of Protected Persons) centralized concurrent processing stream, long periods of no communication from IRCC are unfortunately common. IRCC processes the protected person's application and the overseas dependents' application concurrently, and after biometrics and police certificates are received, files often remain in background, security, and eligibility review for many months before the next update.
At the stage why do not you, submit a webform inquiry to IRCC.
Request GCMS notes to see the internal status of eligibility, criminality, and security checks.

Background & security passed May 2026.
Final decision May 26.
Dependants only had biometrics processed in Sept 2025. Ever since no updates
Perfect happy for you

Did you receive that email few days ago asking for documents many people reported including me but not sure if that is good sign or bad?

I requested many times stuck in security but this time I requested with documents I submitted so I will go to court against them when time is complete
