How all the 2024 applicants are getting their FD and ECOPR while 2023 applicants are stilling waiting for security check. This is so frustrating.

I thought some guys here said it was a scam
That guy who said it was a scam came at me so bad.
Even IRCC says it’s not a first come first serve bases, however I’m not sure what criteria they follow.
I just feel bad for those who are waiting longer and praying they get FD soon.
I don’t know if it was a scam, but my friend that applied in September 2024 got her ecopr last week, and I’m May 2025 applicant and my criminality and security has started while 90% of 2025 applicants haven’t even gotten AOR, with IRCC its not first come first serve and based on my understanding of the process its all based on the complexity of your file and how easy it is to verify information and identity.
Now with the one time initiative, some processes are going faster, but it looks like not the old ones. But if were like before, with the huge backlog, believe me, 2024 applications not supposed to be processed yet. You guys are lucky.

I was following this forum. Last month just me and other person of 2023 received FD.
It is moving slowly for old cases. Totally unfair.
This information is clearly incorrect. I know 7-8 people in my circle who applied after me and received their Final decision. Some of them applied in 2023, some in 2024.
Very Nice to hear that Bro, congratulations... would you please share your time line? did your security screening has been started or no that was not started and suddenly you got your P1?
Thanks! My eligibility was July 2024. I contacted IRCC, requested GCMS, and even followed up with MP, but no news until today.
