Hi everyone,
I have an issue with the IRCC about my PR application as a protected person.
My criminality check has been in progress for 25 months, and I think that because of the poor fingerprint quality, there are 7 of my fingers considered an exception as appeared in the GCMS note.
I have tried to send the web form before almost 6 months, but I got a template response.
I have called the MP office and explained everything about my issue, and the MP office told me
I have requested that a message be sent to the Mississauga office to inform them of my issue.
If you have not received a response within 12 business days, please contact our office again for a further update.
My question is, do you think that the MP office has a real effect on the IRCC process office?

Same but for me its info sharing. Why is it in progress for two years can someone explain
Awesome! I was still a bit worried because I wasn't sure if the decision was positive. Hopefully, you'll get your EcoPR soon as well
I contacted 3 different MPs during my WP application (I moved from the city). None of them helped more than normal updates. Only one left a note for the officer to request more information
In my case, MP didn't work
Congrats once again. I applied May 23rd,2023 for PR ( protected person )and still no update yet.
We can only wait patiently, hopefully they attend to us in the coming weeks.
A quick question; how early did you apply for your partner work permit extension and did you receive letter of working authorization? I was thinking to apply for Spouse open work permit 6 months before the current one expires.
It has been almost 38 months since my progress started. My wife is dependent on my application, and her progress was completed 13 months ago; she is now waiting for my process to be completed to get her PR. I'm just waiting for the comprehensive security screening for 13 months. When I tried to contact our MP, they said that they couldn't help because the processing time was still not complete. If MP can't help us, who can help then?
How do u know that your wife’s was completed? Coz I thought they must finish yours then proceed to dependants
Because we applied together in single file. I saw it from ATIP and also also called IRCC.
