I think, IRCC sometimes finalize simpler (single) files first while more complex ones remain in background checks. Applications without dependents are usually easier to finalize because IRCC only needs to complete checks for one person. People with little or no international travel often go through security screening faster.

Doesn’t matter tbh! I have no dependents, no international travel background and the country I came from is in Europe and security check should not be an issue. August 2023 applicant with zero updates after the pre-arrival last November

I’m wondering how they are processing our application!!

We are so close, but at the same time, it feels so far away. I won't be surprise if we start to see 2025 applications get the PR before us.

My suggestion is contacting an MP because: they sometimes get slightly more detailed internal notes than you see but they can't peed up your application

Im August 2023 applicant. My husband and child are overseas. Today he received an email from IRCC requesting different documents [that we submitted when applied...] like our marriage certificate. I have the one we sent when applied but that was on 2023. Do you think they require one recent certificate?
And how to submit it? By webform? Or in my ircc secure account?
Proof of relationship, like pictures, bank account, others.

They also requested some forms like travel history, we already submitted when applied? Need to send again?
Any similar experience to share?

it should say on the letter how they want you to submit. If it doesnt, then send a webform with documents, unless a slot has opened in your gc key to submit the documents then do it there.
