I am a May 2023 applicant, I have been following this forum since I registered for PR, until the new year everything was going according to a certain order, but in the new year everything changed and now it is not clear on what basis we were skipped and 2024 applicants are getting PR, this is very worrying for me. Shouldn't we do something? For example, prepare a petition and protest

more than half of 2023 applicants are still waiting for "security" to pass and majority of 2024 applicants are receiving ecoprs? where can we complain and how is this fair?
I see that many people who applied in 2024 have received their P1. I applied in September 2023, and I’m not even sure whether my security step has started yet. Doesn’t IRCC review applications in order? How can someone who applied in 2024 receive the P1 email before someone who applied in 2023?
Why you ask it in 2023 applicants page? Are you really a PR applicant or you just trying to create conflicts here?
They just want to create conflict. It’s a rage bait. I wouldn’t even waste my time responding to them
I think, IRCC sometimes finalize simpler (single) files first while more complex ones remain in background checks. Applications without dependents are usually easier to finalize because IRCC only needs to complete checks for one person. People with little or no international travel often go through security screening faster.
Criminality : passed
Info sharing : complete
Medical: passed/expired
No Eligibilty and no pre arrival
in which stage we are not allow to fly out of country? I think only in between P1 and P2, right?
I contacted MP for my application. Same update as GCMS, "criminality/background hasn't started. 3 months ETA"
Edit: I just checked IRCC website. It says this for APRIL 2023
