hello everyone, I became PR in July 2025, my spouse outland received passport request in Oct 2025, but at that moment he was inside of Canada and we requested a virtual landing but no response since then, have one of you experienced something similar ?

Mine was on security check for 17 months before it started to move . I applied March 22 2022. I still do not have my PR but on P2 and waiting for COPR

Any update ?

No updates. I received a request letter on January 27. I replied back on the same day. Nothing since then. My MP says that they received all the submitted documents that I provided on January and the application is still in process, waiting on the background check.
I thought this request letter would move things…
