2026 PR application timeline

[pal1250]

Guys, I submitted my PR application in January 2026 and completed my biometrics in September 2026. I’ve now received an unusual request: they are asking for all the phone numbers I used before coming to Canada, all my previous social media accounts, and copies of all the passports—both mine and my family’s—that we have held in the past. Are these standard requests? Has anyone else been asked for this?

These requests may be related to identity verification and additional security screening, but we shouldn’t assume they are specifically connected to terrorism-related activities.
