Today my online application status changed from INPROCESS to APPLICATION RECEIVED.

What do they expect for personal history in Background Info form?

Are we expected to write small visits for holidays abroad etc ?? I guess it will take several rows if yes..

i tried to call them. They don't even have my application in their system. It was sent on May 10th and was received on May 11th.
Call centre agent said, as long as I've tracking id i should be fine. He didn't give me any timeline.
Anyone in same boat?

They are not following any criteria while processing the files. Some individuals who sent their files end of May have got their sponsorship approved already. My application status is " Application Received" as well. Agent was right, as long as you have proof of delivery, it is all good.All we can do is wait

from own experience, i have a feeling they are asking for more papers .

My app was received on May 26th, called them today and they told me the same thing :They have no track of my application in their system, yet. They checked with me the Canada Post tracking number and they confirmed with me that it was sent to the correct address. They suggested to wait for AOR or any other form of communication from them.

did you send it through courier or regular mail? I sent it through courier

I am sponsoring my father and mother(no dependents) for PGP 2017. Confused about
Use of a Representative (IMM 5476) form. Do I need to fill it for each of them with me as their representative? Whats the impact of this?

it is not mandatory.if you fill all the communication will come directly to you not to your Father/mother.
You need to fill only one for PA.

Provide your employment history, including periods of unemployment for the last THREE consecutive taxation years preceding your application. Make sure that you do not leave any gaps in time.

Confused about their choice of words.. I have been working since 14 years.. but do they only care about last 3 years as the sentence says

yes, they care about 2016 2015 and 2014
