Hi,

Applied for my mother's PR. SA is approved, AOR received and her application is processed in Ottawa. Does any one know how long will it take to get her letter for Medical or would you suggest me to proactively complete her medicals and send it.

Please advise.

You need to wait for the letter requesting it. or they will send it back.

I do not think I believe in the 10k cap increase. As per what I read on the other threads they need to present the bill for that and it will take time to pass in the parliament. If we are lucky it will be in effect from 2017. But, I do not see it happening this year for sure.

The 10000 limit application is 2016 as they never sent the ones that were over 5000 application back. 2017 will also have another 10000. They plan to accept beween 285,000 and 305,000 PR applications in total this year (which is the highest ever).

I'm a Canadian Permanent resident (PR), since Nov 2014. My mother got her multiple entry visitor visa to Canada for 10 years in 2015. It's her second visit to Canada since then. She is leaving back to India coming week (March 2nd 2017). Now i want her to stay with us for longer duration than 6 months. So which is the best option for her ? To apply super-visa from India or come back as a visitor to Canada and apply for Super-visa from/within Canada on her next visit ? Kindly advise.

I want to Sponsor her for PR but when i did a research I could found out that, i have to submit my three years, Notice of assessment (NOA). I got my NOA for 2014 but no income, as i didn't work that year. I have my 2015 NOA and soon receive my 2016 NOA. My income is good for the last two years. I mean i'm eligible to sponsor her based on my financial eligibility. Now when can i start her Permanent resident application ?

Is there anyway to submit the application in Canada or we have to do it from India itself ?

Lets say you meet 2015, 2016 and 2017 LICO, you may be able to sponsor her on 2019 (if the program is open then).

HELLO EVERYONE IM NeW SO please help me out.....I applied for my parents in 2016 and got this mail in 2017 march saying "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing. " what is the timeline for next step?
