hi, sorry to hear that, but, did they really mentioned about that in their letter as the reason why your application is returned?

also, because as you said your file with Sask was not even opened, what was your response to the question in the NS application form about File Number and Result (in-process, approved, refused)?

thanks for clarifying.....

Yes, my letter dated May 1 2014, says
" The NSOI is not satisfied that you intend to live in Nova Scotia permanently, As recently as January 2014 your intended destination in Canada was
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan"

I sent to them my letter from Saskatchewan my letter mentioned thay I was not accepted because cap reached.

I was so foolish , because I mentioned Saskatchewan.

they would never know that you had sent your package to Saskatchewan. The information they have is not cenrelized. They could know only if you were accepted. Even FSW will not have information that you have sent your docs. to NSNP or Saskatchewan while you do not have a file number. They send the scan of your docs to CIC only if you are accepted. So, it is not immportant to write that you have sent for another province your package if you were rejected.

Well, I am out of Nova Scotia permanently,

I got my package in my house (snail mail),

the decision was made on May 1 2014,

Why rejected, because I mentioned that I applied to Saskatchewan, only that

Completely unfair, why I appied Saskatechawan, because no job offer, why applying Nova Scotia exactly
the same reason.

Why Nova Scotia, never sent me a pre-screening e-mail??

very unfair system, because Saskatchewan never even open my file.

best luck to you folks

...sorry to hear this one.....basically they are sending back applications.......

that's sad....I thought you were just being upfront with your details rather than hiding it but obviously, it appears that by coming out clean the effect is on the reverse...

I would assume you applied for Sask back in 2013 and only got their letter in January 2014...

Hi,

Very sorry to hear about the refusal :( , Just keep on trying until You succeed !!!
Never bow down to this setback, Concentrate on your FSW filing and I sincerely wish you all the best in that endeavor !!!

I noticed from tracking sheet that there is no one who received pre-screen email since 18/4/2014, around one month ago. Is it logic? or no one update his status?

Hi all,
I have a problem with my email address. my inbox show 1 email unread but I can't find it. Please has anyone idea how to check?

I agree to your view point ..applicants are not updating, they take what Info they want from forum members & unwilling to participate after that !
But , there are some applicant who are willing to share the info , In spite of the rejection as well !!!

Tetune, i feel seriously sad - not only because of your rejection, but because of the reason. This is a BIG lesson we should all learn. This is an issue we should take very serious. I once mentioned it early this year in one of the forums that i have a strong feelings that once your application is turned out as a result of cap filled or late submission, you can assume that you have never applied to that Province. This is simply because you have no case number nor file number. They only open files and database for approves files with a generated number.

What the VO used as basis for rejection here is "intent'. He/She assumed that since you just applied to a province in Jan and quickly come looking for NS barely two months later shows you just want to enter Canada and not actually the love for NS. This assumption is not always true because our interest/desire changes on hourly basis, but that is the reality we have to battle.
