Its a very good news to listen that pre-screeing has started...

This april month seems to be longer....

This was your post on 16th april . in the tracking sheet you entered that you received pre screen email on 17th april. Could you please confirm if you really received pre screen email or you enter ed the date bymistake?

Correct but from 2nd April when they changed the RLMD guideline. However, if applicant can provide other documents from educational institution or from employer that mode of communication is English, it will be counted complete (page 5-RLMD guide). Again to be eligible, candidate must meet CLB5 (RLMD page 4)- in other words, IELTS is mandatory to show english proficiency .

To summarise:
So IELTS General is safest.
IELTS Academic accepted till 1st April
If provided other documents of english proficiency, it will be tough for them to assess whether it is equivalent to CLB5 - so it is risky and also confusing if IELTS is mandatory.

I opine that, if they already has a huge profile then why they would consider incomplete profiles just because that profile reached earlier?

Nope, They will not do that, This save lot of man power and even save time to contact people to send updated documentation...

In first place I still don't understand why they make you fill out this form, you need anyway to send original directly to Sydney in second stage, here I suppose you can make any changes in your application, like correct the visa office.

Actually, something could change from the time you apply and get the nomination, so I believe is perfectly right to update this form as needed.
