I totally disagree with you. If NS nominates 150 per each occupation and occupation list are around 43 as I think. Therefore, NS will nominate around 6450 applicant. Whilst, FSWP only accepts 5000 applicant over whole Canada.
It is out of logic that NS nominates higher number than FSWP.
This is my own opinion

If the NSNP limit per job is 150, NSNP total may come out even higher than FSWP. That is a good point and very logical.

However, let me say that the 150 quota came from NSNP. http://novascotiaimmigration.com/immigrate/regional-labour-market-demand/faq/. You will read them also saying that when the limit is reached applicants will be given noticed for them to return the application or keep them for next years queue.

Second, while the NSNP list has so many number of jobs(49), not all of them is expected to generate 150 applicants. So many professions now are in great supply that many countries are having difficulty getting them all employed. Example is Nurses and IT workers, and Engineers in the Philippines. There is an estimated half million registered nurses in the Philippines and 90% of them are aiming to work abroad.I project a great number of qualified professionals in this field just from the Philippines will apply resulting in the quota being reached soon. The imposition of the quota is not only helpful to NS in keeping a balance in the kind of workers they let in but also in facilitating the nominating process for those who turned out eligible.

Dear Seniors,

I was just filling NSNP 100 form but at the end of that form there are option for witness signature. Anyone can tell me little about that? is it required? if yes then is there any requirement, i mean any one can sign as witness or specific person has to be signed as witness?

Anyone can be sign this as a witness. (Brother, sister, in laws, cousin or even a friend)

Canada has entered into bilateral agreements with all provinces (except Quebec) and with the
Yukon and Northwest Territories to allow those provinces to nominate individuals to become
permanent residents based on the provinces’ assessment of the nominees’ ability to contribute to
the economic growth and development of that province.
This sub-chapter explains what the provincial nominee class is and how to process applications.
Hereinafter, the word province refers to both provinces and territories

Hi everyone.

I would like some help with a question.

I sent off my docs on March 28 but just realized that although everything was signed and in order and support docs attached, with regard to the very last line of the NSNP_100 form, where they asked for signature of witness, this was not done.

I think this was due to misinterpretation on my part.

Do you think this will affect the processing greatly in any way? That is, will they just reject as entire package as "incomplete" altogether for this one item? I double checked and everything else is in order.

Thanks for your opinions.

Well nobody knows the final decision of the officer
Nothing to do only wait an leave everything in the hands of God
Be positive maybe your profile is strong enough to compensate this

You need to prove the money is yours, A bank statements, is not enough, you need to show the money has been in your account for at least 3 months, more time better.

Sorry but I couldn't get your point. How is it logical that NSNP could nominate higher number than FSWP?

Yes you can show this property. There is no max limit of fund, however, minimum fund depends on number of family. In all cases it is higher than mentioned 10.,000 CAD. On the other hand, if you transfer more than 10,000, you must inform CIC before doing this action as there are some restrictions regarding bringing money from other countries

Whether anyone got nominated. If yes, we can find whether its first in first out. Or based on merit.

If not can anyone guess from from when we will get prescreening confirmation or nomination.

Hi Krishna, Please can you send me ur cell no/email id on rrishugupta@yahoo.com/9958999792... or ... I need to know some thing in form....

Hi All,

I'm new to this site and need some information. Appreciate if someone can help.

1. How much funds (minimum) I need to show in CAD $ when applying? Applying for as a single person.
2. How long should be these fund(s) with me?
3. Do I need to give all this minimum fund to Canadian government?
4. What would be the impact on the application, if someone has no job offer from NS?

Thanks,
Kashan

Dear friends,

I am just completing my forms after printing. Couple of details are not clear, please advice.

1. All the blank fields (ex: UCI from IMM 0008 Form) have to be completed with "N/A" or "Not Applicable" ?
At least this is what I understand from the following video:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/multimedia/video/complete-application/complete-application.asp

2. I have borrowed some money from family. After I got the bank statement, can I return the amount or when processing the file, the officer will access the account to check the amount ?

Thanks,
