When according this Agent, when NS started to queue people.

Hi,

I have been here in Toronto more than 2 years on closed work permit. When I approached any company regarding for job offer then immediately denied. Now imagine, you guys are applying outside Canada.

There are many reasons behind it. The most reason is that Canadian company need to file LMO or show that why they are going to hire employer outside Canada instead local Canadian.

Generally, they don't get the LMO. Due to so many reasons, people don't get permanent offer letter.

Immigration team now hiring resource/fill labor market gap through PNP, Federal category. We have seen here in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan. Likewise, you definitely can see same category in different provinces.

Hi everybody, recently my father and I learned about the policy of immigration that Nova Scotia established, he is an accountant and he is applying through a lot of canadian job sites, he wants to go with a job offer, but reading a lot of posts and some other threads, it is almost impossible having that setup, however, is it really hard to get? I know you don't have to have a job offer, but that's the way he wants it, I'm a college freshman and initially will stay put (we live in Brazil).

Thanks for your attention :D

My agent didnt discourage me to apply but he just told me the real situation. This is due to the volume of applications received. But I still have the option to apply.

I would suggest you to apply it without any hesitation.

The cut off date was not given. Probably to give the ns flexibility in their screening process.

Honestly, I don't have trust on any nomination program (except skilled worker with job offer letter) because they change rules anytime. At a same time, they introduce new rules and regulation.....

Every time, you apply overseas to a JOB in Canada, you will get probably the same advice "ONLY PEOPLE AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW, WILL BE CONTACTED", this is a polite way to tell you , we need people already living in Canada for this position.

Is quite difficult to get a JOB from Canada.

Due to this proffession being on shortage, we did think that they would be willing to make a job offer to foreigners, but that's ok, learning is never too much.

Thanks for your reply.

Hello everyone,

Please advice regarding the Proof of Funds. It states that for two persons you need to have in your account 13.837 CAD. I don't have this money.
I have an apartament that is worth more then 50.000 CAD. Can I replace the 13.837 CAD required, with my apartment ?

If not, how did you got the money required ? Familly, friends, bank ?

Thank you,

Hi David_C

Yes you can. You need to provide proof of property ownership (Titles) and appraisal of your property (Valuation Report).
Kindly refer to the Application guide, page 20 -Financial Information- for options on Proof of Funds.

Property is considered as proof of fund. Irrespective of funds in ur account do submit bank statements. You can show your investments as well. But just for your info nsnp will give just 150 nominations , your application will be put unto queue for next year if u domt fall within 150 cao of this year
