Dear

Do u have any idea about the Cap/Max App. for NSNP? What do u expect till when NSNP would b accepting Apps?

I am not an immigration officer so i dont know about cap. I would suggest u to concentrate on completing ur application with all mentioned documents and very important settlement and employment plan. As long as NS immi has not declared officially about cap there is NO CAP. Wish you good luck.

this video explains interesting facts about NS

I got the news that NSNP is not First Come First Server basis. I don't know but got the news from others.
Otherwise, people will get the AOR at least.

I hope everyone will get sooner.

Even i have asked the question to NSNP, whether it is quota based?
And i received the email from mentioning the same,

It is not based on first come first served. The applications that are complete, and applicant meets all qualifications and show a sincere intent to come to Nova Scotia and stay permanently will be nominated quicker.

c. Civil Engineering is regulated. I'll say Yes

d. this answer depends on what steps you've taken. You may have taken no steps or have started taking steps.

Genrally, the first step is to figure out if you earned your degree in a country that has any educational accord with Canada (like the washignton accord). They way to find out is to email Engineers Canada, include your degree, year degree was earned, school and country. They'll tell if your degree falls under any accord / not. Under some accords, you will not need to take the Canadian test , a review of your transcript will suffice with proof of experience. In other cases, you may need to take several tests

I deeply appreciate for your help
So how I can answer for this part? MSc Civil engineer(internationally educated engineer), 4.5 years Exp
If your occupation is regulated, in which related, non-regulated occupations could you find skilled employment in Nova Scotia based on your training and work experience? What steps have you taken or will you take to secure employment in these occupations? Please provide third party proof of any communication with employers or anyone else you have contacted.

Good day, everyone!

I got a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering here in the Philippines. I did not take any board exam so I am not a "full-pledged" engineer. However, I have been working as an electronics technician for more than 5 years now.

My NOC code 2241, Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians, is being regulated in Nova Scotia. My problem is this - What do I have to do if my job is regulated? What is Nova Scotia's regulatory body for electronics technicians? What agency do I need to contact to find out about getting a license to be able to work once I get to Nova Scotia?

I have been searching everywhere online about this, but I can't seem to find an answer. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

You can apply for a job in ns that suits you and ask them the best thing to do. Normally they will give you a guide of what to do..

Saw this somewhere here too

You also need to send copies of CIC forms to NSNP.. Once u get nomination then send NSNP form copies..original CIC forms , supporting documents and origininal nomination letter. Hope that helps

Yes definetly u can apply .. Make sure ur job profile matches with NOC code..and ur employment and settlement plan is aligned with NOC job description.. Also make sure ur reference letter highlights ur skills or role which is aligned with NOc code..coz reference is required at CIC stage
