Hello all,

I am willing to apply under this program. I have little understanding about the program. But can anyone please share with me the guidelines and process for filling the forms.
I am a mechanical engineer (NOC 2132) and was planning to apply under FSW 2014. But I dont see any chances of FSW 2014 now. If I applu under NSNP, then can I apply under FSW 2014(if launched)??

Question to people applying from india

how did you sent your application,

DHL says, they don't carry documents to PO box address ?? Is it true ??

what is the other best option ? I don't rely on India post .

They can't do it without the ZIP code. If you provide the ZIP code it's okay if it goes with the P.O. Box.

can I show my house value as the proof or need the said amount cash in the account ?

Proof of funds can be cash in savings account, term deposits, investments, house valuation, mutual funds, fixed deposits, etc

I refuse to listen to any talk of caps/limits and wish my application Godspeed. ;D

Advise to all: submit now and worry about caps later

Thanks for the support.
But we have to show these proofs while submitting/sending the application to Province or while we apply to CIC after being nominated by Province.?

I also wrote something about this earlier. I wonder what all these limits/caps issue will add to our application. Our energy and drive should focus on how we submit as early as possible. "Equity aids the vigilant"

I have degree in Electronics engg and recently working as a Database Administrator from last 4 years. Can i apply for NSNP?
I have few questions, any answer would be great help.


1) Do i need to appear for IELTS?
I have already letter from college mentioning that my entire course was taught in English (From india as well as from Ireland).
I also worked in USA for couple of years.

2) We are total 3 (Me+ My wife + 3 years old son). So, do i need to show the proof of $17k? And for how long should i need to keep this amount in Bank? Fixed Deposit would be fine?

3) How much would be total expense for NSNP?

I think people shud only reply when they know the information.without knowing please dont answer any questions and dont predicit and try to become a cic officer. For ur kind info i am eligible in RLMDS and if u have taken my query wrong i didnt ask if iam eligible i asked if my occupation is regulated and i would like to share this with all tht only engineering occupations r regulated and almost 80% of occupations r nt regulated. For more info google regulated and non regulated occupations u will get the complete list :-X

Sorry to say this Fatima, but I remember writing to you via a PM and also via this forum that your occupation is not regulated. If you are frustrated, just keep it yourselves. We are not trying to be CIC, but we are trying to help each other out with what ever information we have. Looks like then, our each and every post should have a disclaimer

I didn't tell tht u r doing a bad job nor I am frustrated I just told that person who replied to my query wrongly without knowing any details...further if u rem I praised u for ur effort u r putting in this forum to help people... and to add more I would like to tell u tht even I have applied 2 times...n I knw few rules. .but I don't reply to people if I don't know the correct info....anyways to end on a happy note.... I don't have any probs with anyone....

I agree madam. Me too dont want to blame you neither I am blaming you. But felt that your statement stating we becoming CIC was a bit strong. Thats why felt so. No worries.
