Hi Jelani Ji, Soonihope, Nitinbali60 & all respected & livable forum member I am glad to inform you that PPR was received ,PP sent on 10th Aug2015 to CPC Ottawa & Ottawa affixed PR stamping on13 Aug 2015 valid till medical validity & received back PP along with COPR letter today I.e 19th Aug 2015. I am obliged & grateful to all of you forum members for keeping me posted with valuable suggestions, guidance. I prey to GOD to speed up processing of my fellow forum members,s applucants enabling them to enjoy Elders company on their Landing in Canada. Since my father is already with us hence we will complete Landing by Sunday from Peace Bridge Fort Erie from where Laluji had arrange Landing of his respected mother. Shall revert after landing byee

Thanks for warm wishes & concern about unification of our family. Me too wish early completion of your mother's immigration and also prey to Almighty GOD to fasten the immigration process of our full batch of June 2010 to April 2011 paving fast way to new group who have been issued letters. Just saw the updated quarterly processing times on the CIC website dated 10 July 2015 for parent PR after sponsorship approval.

Now Delhi is 77 months, London is 82 months, Manila is 76 months, Singapore is 75 months and Ottawa has no data because Ottawa has not finalized 10 or more cases in the last 12 months according to the website.

So is it better to have file transferred to London or Ottawa........................

I thought PR processing time at LVO after sponsorship approval doesn't mean anything anymore.

45 months (sponsorship) + 75 months (PR) = 120 months (10 years)

whereas you guys are getting done in ~60 months (5 years).

Unfortunately Yes and No. while lots of people are having cases processed in about 5 years, there are still many from this thread still awaiting sponsorship approval whereas the website says it is 45 months yet for most it is already over 50 months since they applied and a year since they submitted documents in 2014.

Ottawa LVO according to the website have finalized less than 10 cases between June 2014- July 2015. We all thought Ottawa was taking cases to reduce the backlog. Might take a while to clear at this speed.... ???

LVO will reciece our additional documents by tomorrow InshaAllah. I need to know that whether we recieve any kind of acknowledgement letter after that? How will we know that they have recieved? And when can we expext the passport request?

hi jassyjeff, congrats for that update, do you have any dependant on your file, my timeline is similar as your, I hope my ecas will update soon. did they state out that what date they start processing underneath in process because my uncle's status also changed into in process but they did not mention any date. It just update from application received to in process but underneath in process the same that they received the application on this date, nothing else. now I am waiting for my parents that they will change it soon.

Hi Lakha, thanks, I have 1 dependent on the file. When I checked the ecas status yesterday it just said application recieved and when I checked this morning it had changed to "in process" I also got an email from them this morning asking for my brothers marriage certificate which orignally was never asked. So now the ecas status says
1. application recieved
2. medical recieved
3. check email for missing document request......

not the exact words but something along those line.

I hope you get some good news soon too. Its been a long wait already and hopefully they
can clear out the back log as asap.

Yes we got RPRF request instruction with our medical request on 26 june 2015 and decision made shows our ecsa on 30 july.our lvo- Singapore.
No PP request yet.
