Hello All,

We got medicals done for my parents in Feb, 2015.. File is in Ottawa going no where. Any thoughts/things I can do to follow up? Please advise.

you could consider getting your gcms notes. only costs $5 and you will get to see what is noted in your file.
it takes 30 days to receive reply.

My parents had medical exam on May 6-2015 and some extra heart test done on May 14th. wondering if results have been updated to cic?how to find out if results have been sent out.
Anyone with same timelines got PPR?

mostly sponsership approval comes in 45-60 days after AOR but in our cases no sponsership approval after 3 months ...
why are they taking so much time
will we can get an email with sponsership approval , file transfer , and medical request in only one email.
like first generation 's case
please share your experience ...

My AOR is Nov 2014 and no sponsorship yet. Usually it take 3-6 months but mine is quite long.

After medical the e-cas status changes to In Process. I believe after that they add a line medical rec'd once all of the necessary documents are received and case is about to be finalized.

ecas is not changed yet. It still says only 1 line.
We recieved your application in XX may 2010.

Every visa office and officer operates differently. Try Case Specific enquiry and ask them if they have received the medical results. This way you will get confirmation and officer might change the status after looking at your file.

I received an e-mail today that we need to submit police report for my dad and mum with in 45 days. Can the reports be scanned and emailed or they have to be physically mailed to the visa office?

I should have submitted them when i submitted the other documents last year....i would have been receiving a passport request now if i had done that

PCC have to be submitted for principal applicant only? or do we need to provide for each dependant as well? Also, did you scan and emailed the additional documents (e.g. additional forms etc.) or did you mailed them?

I have sent it to the following because DHL doesn't deliver to post box.

DHL shows document as delivered without any recipient's signature.

Also the medical was submitted end of June.
So far I don't see any change on ecase.

1. Can someone tell me that the address I sent the documents is ok?

2. How do I do a case specific inquiry? Please provide instructions.

We got AOR in early February (letter dated Jan 26th). Still no sponsorship approval.
We requested notes on June 15th. Almost 1 month. No response yet.
