No I received it within 30 days of medicals.

@ fishburger you recieved request for additional documents 1 year after your medicals? Also whats your visa office?

What are the the test required to be done for upfront medical? what doctor should they go to in bombay , India?

My parent file was transfeered to ottawa on march 19,2015., however have not heard back anything yet .

I called the call centre last week, as I could not see the status online. they told me - you have passed the first stage of the application and it is in second stage where your parent are the applicants. . hence you cannot see the file. Whihc is odd coz I am inputting their informaiotn and still dont see anything.

Please help.

Chotis to see eCas status.
use the file number given on your sponsorship approval letter.
Select for identification-application number (this is the 3rd item on drop down menu)
application number is the F00.............. one on top of letter
Then insert the details of the principal applicant (i.e your mother or father as per your application)
Insert their last name
insert their date of birth
insert their place of birth

This should allow you to see eCas status. If not then CIC have been working on your file and have changed the file number. unless you are the representative then only your parents can phone and get this new file number as they do not give out details to someone else unless you are the representative.

Hope that all makes sense. We are also waiting like you and still no news.

Can i open with client number or uci ... If with file number it does not open ..!!

Last year in nov 2014 i submiited my additional documenta to cic after that i have no news .... So please tell with which number i can check my online status ... With file or uci number

Thank you Soonihope. I was still not be able to see it and the call centre agent told me it might me a technical error. She wasnt helpful so I dont trust what she said. Going to call again this week to find out what is going on ?

In my experience, the time I was unable to access the ecas is when they updated my file. Because soon after I waited probably a day, I was able to access it which the status then showed updated. So I guess that was the reason then.

Also, as the sponsor, you will still be able to view the status in the ecas even during stage 2. Whether you are using your own UCI number (sponsor's) or the application number (starting with Fxxxxxxxxx), and inputing your own birth details, you will be able to access it. As a sponsor you will see two tabs, one for sponsorship and the other one for the PR applic which is up to date. The only difference when you use your parents details in logging in is that there's only one tab which is the PR applic, the info is the same as what you will find when you log in as a sponsor.

My ecas just changed to "In Process" from "Application Received" Under PR column. They started processing the application on June 18th 2015 and medical results have been received.

We received PCC, Medical and additional document request June 08.

The Medical was done June 13 and was submitted sometimes last week as per doctor.

Still working on getting the PCC and other request documents.
