I got the approval letter on Jan 10, 2014 and the file got transferred to Ottawa. In March, i got another email advising that the file is now transferred to New Delhi. I got the AOR from Delhi office in mid april and within a week got the medical request

I guess than i have to wait..as i got approval and transferred letter on apr 28...havent received anything from delhi yet..

I got two emails today:

- First asking for FBI clearence and payment
this is confusing as my parents never stayed in the USA for 6 months
also i paid the landing fee and send them the recept with the application

- Second they are asking for medicals
my parents did medicals only 8 months ago for supervisa.. do they need to do again

Congrats finally some update from Ottawa.
Regarding FBI clearance I would send email explaining your parents have not lived in US for 6 months because FBI clearance is slow to get. Regarding landing fee send via email copy of receipt showing you have paid.

Thanks.. How about medicals, they did that for supervisa 6 months ago, should be valid no?

They just booked a flight to toronto using supervisa for july.. although looking at timelines it seems that it would take more than july to get the visas

I'd do the medicals because if you have only 30 days you don't want to chance being late in submitting medicals. If you email and they take 2/3 weeks to reply it doesn't leave much time to do medicals.

I'd just do the medicals, as you know the PR visa is valid for one year from date of medical. your supervisa medical will likely run out by the time passport request is sent and then redoing medical will just slow the process.
In my opinion do medical now.

Thats good advise, I will get them to do it.

I was just looking at the docs i sent with the application .. my mom specifically wrote a letter saying that they have not stayed in the USA for more than 6 months. so i dont understand why they would request that FBI clearance thingi again... i basically have to repeat exactly what she had said

I got SA on March 31 2015 and today I get AOR from VO Singapore via email. So when do I expect to get medical request form from them?

We submitted all the documents on October 22, 2014 and got the AOR in February (dated February 6, 2015).
No approval, yet.
Is there someone who has a similar timeline and already received the approval?

Hi,

I'm fairly new here. I have the same case. I submitted my application to sponsor my parents last October 2010
Got a letter last July 30, 2014 asking to submit all other documents
Submitted all documents in October 2010
received AOR in February (dated January 16, 2015) informing me that they have received the complete documents on October 16, 2014
same thing with me - no approval yet as of this time. I have been calling the call center and they informed me that they open the file
last March 2015. I am still waiting for approval. let me know if you have received something.

dec 21 my representative received aor from ottawa that they received requested docs and they are good and case is in processing queue now...april 28 i got email that which is sa and file transfer
