Guys help me. When they asked for our documents they didnt request for medical and in nov14 we received our sponserhip approval and our file was transferred to LVO . Its been 6months so when do we expect our medical? And what happens next?

same here...we do got medical notice in approval letter but there was no forms...when we called doc to book appointment they mentioned that they will received medical letter and forms...which we are waiting for...

No update yet. It is very frustrating. File was transferred to ottawa in January 19, 2015. Not sure if i do something or just wait. Any idea?

Same as you our file transferred also on 19 Jan. nothing since then. Have no idea when medicals will come.unfortunately nothing we can do but just wait.

Did everyone submit PCC with the additional doc request, or are you waiting for Medical and PCC request to submit PCC. I submitted my parents PCC in september, wondering if it needs to be submitted again. Does it have any relation to the timeline of the latest landing date?

If you submitted police certificates in Sept then unless they specifically ask you again I don't think you need to give them. In letter in July 2014 it said send PCC with additional documents now or when LVO requests them.

You have already sent them with additional documents so no need to resend.

It's very difficult to guess timelines for anything. Some people this year got medicals in less than 2 weeks while others wait months after sponsorship approval. I see from your timeline you have waited nealrly 1 year from AOR to sponsorship approval. This year most people got approval after AOR in much shorter time.

After medicals we have to wait for passport request. Again timelines for this stage vary person to person. Sorry my answer does not give exact time periods but no one can predict the exact time it will take.

Where was your file transferred and do you have any dependent on your file.

Our file was transferred to LVO and yes 3 dependants including me and my mom and my dad. MY sister is sponcering is from Canada

Which LVO is your file at.

It's been a month and haven't hear any update from CIC..

don't Frustrate and soon u 'll hear good new and after 1 month they send passport request

My sister Sponsored me and my parent back in 2010. The application was filed in January 2010 and Acknowledgement was received in February 2010. Documents were requested in August 2013 and Were submitted in October 2013. We received no AOR after that and still nothing from the Visa office. What could be the reason? How do you get an AOR anyway? I just don't know who to ask. Can anyone here help?
