Any one in this forum who are still waiting for sponsorship approval from 2010 cases the files had been updated this week?

No approval yet. Our ECAS changed to "In process" about 2 weeks ago.
But nothing else.

Scnd thing is they mention in
outgoing: request letter
Status : sent

Requested : detailed with the duty of punjab police. Kindly complete the attached form and return same

But we didn't receive any letter. wht should we do now???

I would suggest you phone the helpdesk and explain no letter detailing the request has been received by you. Mention you saw this on your caps notes so would like new instructions sent to you if it is required.

I got approval in Jan but still waiting 9 months now for medicals. our file has been "in process" for almost 6 months. no idea why things have slowed down. hoping the new government will help speed up the processing.

My mom finally received her visa. Waiting game is over ;D

I hope everyone will have their turn to tell the same news soon.

Btw, i will still update our spreadsheet for the benefit of everybody. God bless!

and what is the minimum time for passport request after final X-ray ?

After passing the medical, normally passport request follows. If you will look at the columns of medical received and passport request in our spreadsheet, you will be able to see how many days passed from medical received to PPR. So far, the shortest from our members was Gurunanak with 8 days gap.

After passing the medical, normally passport request follows. If you will look at the columns of medical received and passport request in our spreadsheet, you will be able to see how many days passed from medical received to PPR. So far, the shortest from our members was Gurunanak with 8 days gap.

The notes just told me that my file has now entered active processing. Doesn't feel very active to me.......
Its been in active processing for almost 6 months according to the notes.

It's really hard to understand how they process our applications. Sometimes it's predictable but there are also times that they aren't. Let's just hope that your visa officer will wake up one day and realized that your file is on his lap waiting to be touched.

congrats for visa, I have couple Q please answer, did you submit original education certificates for your dependant along with medical, if yes, then on which date you submit this, when ndvo return you back. Thanks

your case is similar as my uncle & aunt. ndvo ask for sputum test from my aunt and my aunt's final x-ray done on 24th of sept and now they update on Ecas as medical results have been received. So let's see, when they will get the ppr, once they receive the ppr, I will let you know.

Hello

I am new to this forum.

My parents file got transferred to Ottawa, and got a letter with request to complete medicals.

My parents are here in Canada on visit, and had to do their medicals to get the visit visa. CIC confirmed that only my dad now needs to redo the medical, which I have completed. The doctor has confirmed the medical is sent to CIC, and my file status changed to 'Processing started - 22nd Oct'.

2 Questions;

The medical which my mom had done started on 13th Mar, but as she needed additional tests, eveyrthing was complete on 5th Jun. iS the one year validity period from Mar or Jun.

I would like to know if CIC will request police clearance document. f so, can they be obtained from Indian Embassy in Toronto.
