Yes, you're correct, I'm not from a visa exemption country. I have another question though, should I reply to the email with an attachment of the fee receipt or should I update my application using the web form inquiry? There is also the option of mailing it to the VO.

Those are the only two ways to contact CIC that i know of. Keep trying to contact them, best of luck.

I know how stressful it is to read the forum and wonder where your AOR is but just be a little bit more patient. Some people don't even receive an AOR at all but instead receive a SA email a little later on. I'm a May 11th applicant and i haven't received my AOR yet.

It's been known to happen for various reasons, mainly because of red flags in the applicant's information provided, red flags in their relationship to sponsor and any other misrepresentation.

I would suggest that you talk to her about it all once more and explain to her that if her passport is not received within the time period set by CIC then it will be a long wait to get back to where you were in terms of the application process. This entire process can be very stressful on a...
