    Not sure how you can guarantee that TRV is still valid. When cancelled it is done electronically without notifying the person. Not saying it was cancelled but it could be.

    A TRV never guarantees entry to Canada so yes your mother applying for asylum and your sister being included as a dependent could lead to either cancelling your TRV or being refused entry.

    Would suggest asking if anyone with AOR in December, January, etc. AOR is likely more important than when you sent in your application to determine where you are in the queue.
