Hi everyone! Hope all is well.

I had an update today for my dependant, we have received the medical exam and fingerprint request for my spouse which is overseas. Though I haven't received FD as the main applicant yet. I never heard that a dependant receive medical without the main applicant being approved or getting FD, any thoughts on this? And is it a good sign?

Plus, she received the fingerprint however she had her fingerprint couple years ago for visitor visa, do they need another fingerprint for PR? Is it new? I thought the fingerprint is valid for 10 years, regardless of the application.

Pls advise on both questions

Yes. My husband gave when applied for tourist visa (denied ) and recently was requested to give biometrics again. So, she must go.

No news from abroad office after that
I got EcoPR last week

yes they are very slow i am may 2023 applicant and still no final dec. dependents also not recived medical request till now only eligiblity passed

even applicants under pilot programs usually don’t get their applications processed this quickly. you’re very fortunate.
