    PR Card Renewal - Guidance

Yes, including this one, So I guess what happens is that - even though you're suppose to get an email with the tracker set up info first, the receipt of the PR cards (30 days) happens faster than they can send out the email for the tracker! Unless there's something I'm missing, your situation...

    PR Card Renewal - Guidance

You should get a separate email later - when you get AOR - that will have instructions on how to set up a tracker. (Sadly, AOR can take a bit of time - I haven't done a renewal but for a citizenship app AOR was like 40 days...) This is normal. The portal is mainly for helping you submit the app...

Lost PR status but still have PR Card validity

OP only posted 3 times - all to this thread - and was only seen for one day (all three posts landed the same day). I doubt we'd get a response. I also would bank on OP not traveling - it sounds like OP's family is more concerned about OP keeping a job than keeping PR, else they wouldn't have...

    Residency obligation

Who are you replying to? The original OP had already failed to meet RO (the 730 days) and the latest poster before you even has an already expired PR card. Edit: Reread and realized that you're probably responding to the original OP. Mostly agreed (there's theoretically a tiny risk of a report...

HELP!!!! IRCC reassessing eligibility requirements months after receiving AlP

I don't think they would ask for that - it seems to me the issue here was with the PCC (or inability to get one), which is an unrelated matter to proof of relationship...

Did not disclose marriage before ECOPR, Need help rectifying it

Just found another example: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/help-ircc-reassessing-eligibility-requirements-months-after-receiving-alp.841318/page-2#post-10789982 But there OP had a lawyer who tried to update via webform about the common-law status BEFORE...

I was not able to give them police cleance from back home cause my passport in CBSA I gave them explanation letter after they send me this

OP is no longer active, but OP did post in https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/help-ircc-reassessing-eligibility-requirements-months-after-receiving-alp.841318/page-3 which makes me think that OP had already gotten both AOR and AIP _before_ getting this letter...

    Work Permit Withdrawn??

This was on the wrong forum, so just linking to the thread on the correct forum in case folks find this one first: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/work-permit-withdrawn.876392/#post-11118245

    Work Permit Withdrawn?

Excellent. Wouldn't be surprised if you got these as early as sometime next week (after the new years day holiday and weekend)

PR Card Renewal – Will I Face Issues? (Soft Landing 2020 → Met RO by Dec 2025)

How come your PR card expires in May 2026 if you got PR in March 2020? That's over six years validity for a single PR card. Also, how come you only reach 730 days in December 2025 (which is when you started this thread) if you didn't lose any days from your US trips? (I'm guessing like same-day...

Applying PR Card renewal for dependents not meeting RO

OP has only ever made two posts (both in this thread) and hasn't been seen in over 30 days. There's a chance OP might return but I wouldn't bank on it. So it hasn't been that long since OP's family got the 44(1) report and OP said they would likely proceed with a PR card application, here...

PR Card successfully Renewed - H&C grounds / Not meeting RO

That's a shame. Having a job waiting for you in Canada (or at least a job offer) is one of the factors they are allowed to consider, I believe. The general perception is that if you need H&C then it's very difficult. One lawyer reports here that the approval rate is relatively low...

Did not disclose marriage before ECOPR, Need help rectifying it

From https://www.canadavisa.com/express-entry-invitations-to-apply-issued.html we have the Oct 2025 results. For a general draw or something like Canadian Experience class, she needs a score of 534, so the 484 is not good enough. However, the French draw was at 416, so she'd more than qualify...

Who would like to explain the "at the time of that application"117(9)(D)? Does it include "the first time landing"

Interesting. I never got that far when I had a paper CoPR, and by the time I got mine reissued it was an eCOPR. For that one I definitely missed this, I only see it now on my eCOPR only after you told me that this section exists. ‍♀️ I totally agree from a legal point of view. You signed it...

Innocent Misrepresentation: Married before initial landing but after getting the PR visa

I tried to find your other posts but couldn't. It's odd to me that the forum software says you have three posts but then only shows this one. Anyways, the OP never came back after this last post on this thread, so we don't know what OP tries and what the outcome was. There is at least one...

Who would like to explain the "at the time of that application"117(9)(D)? Does it include "the first time landing"

Ah, you are right. Makes sense to me now. Agreed 100% - if the specific consequences were clear and made clear at every stage of the process, the "what box should I check?" types of mistakes would be less likely to happen. Yeah - like if I forget to update the address on my library card after...

    Work Permit Withdrawn?

I can't imagine that a human being read those and still chose to withdraw, unless that human being was convinced you have PR even after seeing the PRTD refusal letter. And if a human did review this, I'd imagine that they'd write something addressing the PRTD related evidence in the letter...

Who would like to explain the "at the time of that application"117(9)(D)? Does it include "the first time landing"

Oh absolutely. It's entirely my bad for not reading the COPR (I was planning to the day of, then I put it off until I was actually at the border crossing, and then of course I was too busy to actually do any reading at that point - but no excuses, I had plenty of time to do a reading well...

Canadian PR Entry Concerns: Crossing Canada border with Family from Detroit USA without meeting Residency Obligation

You need proof of immigration status (or citizenship if applicable) to qualify for provincially funded healthcare. Also note that healthcare cards are typically tied to the expiry date of your status - so for a PR, they'd tie it to the expiration of your PR card. Meaning that you can't apply...

    Application withdrawal and reapplying

As others have said, wrong forum (and wrong thread for that matter). But to answer it anyways... Yup, that's normal. The wording of the letter is the same regardless if you extend your existing work permit or get a new one - they're "extending" the validity of your current work permit to buy...
